LEGO's New Standalone Flower Plant Series Kicks Off May 1st with Set 10347

A New Release for the LEGO Flower Plant Series

On the evening of March 19th, Beijing time, LEGO announced a new flower plant set, 10347 Sunshine Colorful Bouquet, with an official release date of May 1st.

At just over 300 pieces, it's a smaller set, and LEGO gave it a separate launch because it breaks from the rest of the flower plant lineup in a couple of ways.

First, it's the theme's first release as a standalone line. Until now, LEGO's botanical builds sat under the Icons theme. Starting in 2025, LEGO Flower Plant becomes its own theme in the product lineup.

Back in January, the series already introduced its first "paper bag" set at just 3.99 euros. Earlier this month, LEGO followed that with a limited purchase-with-purchase gift, 40762 Flower Cluster.

10347 Sunshine Colorful Bouquet is the first set sold as a normal release since the flower series went independent, which gives it a bit more weight than a typical new set.

Second, it's the series' first set aimed at children. Every flower series set before this one, regardless of size, was rated 18+ for adult builders.

This new set is rated 9+, which signals that future flower series sets will likely adjust their piece counts and build difficulty to bring in younger plant fans too.

The bouquet itself includes bluebells, daisies, yellow ferns, gerberas, peonies, tulips, and fern leaves, all in a bright, cheerful color palette that would suit a vase display in a kid's room just as well as an adult's.

Looking ahead, LEGO Flower Plant may release another 9+ set in June - reportedly a smiley-face flower pot priced at 19.99 euros. The 18+ line isn't going anywhere either: 10348 Japanese Red Maple Bonsai is also expected in June, priced at 59.99 euros.
