LEGO's June 2025 New Releases: Art, DUPLO, Friends, CITY & Star Wars

June brought another wave of new LEGO releases, and this batch spans a wide range of themes: the artistic Animal Collection, the kid-friendly DUPLO line, and fresh sets in Friends, CITY, and Star Wars. Each one brings something a little different to the table. Here's what's new.

31217 Animal Collection - "Tiger" from the Artistic Series

Back in 2023, LEGO's Artistic Series launched with the 31211 Animal Collection "Scarlet Macaw," a wall-mounted piece that won fans over with its color and design. On June 1st this year, the series' second entry, the "Tiger," arrived.

The 31217 "Tiger" set moves from tropical rainforest to Asian jungle, with a three-dimensional structure and enough detail to give the tiger's face real depth rather than a flat mural look. It's a relatively compact build at 744 pieces, and once assembled it stands over 20 cm tall, 31 cm wide, and about 6 cm deep — sized well for a wall display. It also comes with a stand, so you can just as easily set it on a desk, entryway cabinet, or shelf. The plants and flowers around it can be arranged however you like, and they're compatible with other LEGO botanical sets, so you can build out your own version of the display.

The set went on sale worldwide on June 1, 2025. Smyths Toys had preview images up before pre-orders appeared on LEGO's own site, so it's worth checking back if you don't see it listed yet. Expected price is $59.99.

LEGO DUPLO Peppa Pig Series

On International Children's Day, the first sets from LEGO Group and Hasbro's DUPLO Peppa Pig collaboration hit shelves. It brings Peppa Pig, a character kids have loved for 20 years, into DUPLO form.

The four sets in this first wave match the colors, characters, and storylines from the Peppa Pig show, built for preschoolers to role-play and re-create their favorite scenes. Through that kind of play, kids build emotional and social skills, practice communication, and get a chance to explore different feelings and use their imagination. As with every DUPLO set, these use bright colors, large easy-grip bricks, and meet the line's usual safety standards.

LEGO DUPLO Bluey Series

Also released on Children's Day: DUPLO sets for ages 2 and up alongside standard LEGO sets for ages 4 and up, five sets in total for this first release. Kids can build the Bluey family and recreate scenes from the show, or just make up their own adventures with the pieces.

LEGO Friends Series

42626 Creek Adventure

This set comes with three mini-dolls and a teddy bear, plus newly designed large pieces for dark green coniferous trees, two kayaks, a raft, and paddling gear. It has 628 pieces, retails for €69.99, and became available at LEGO stores and other retailers on June 1, 2024. Assembled, it measures 22 cm tall, 34 cm wide, and 21 cm deep — a good fit for kids who like outdoor and role-play themes. With fishing rods, paddles, and life jackets included, it's built around everyday adventure stories, and works well as a gift for kids 7 and up.

42631 Adventure Treehouse

Released June 1, the Adventure Treehouse set includes five mini-dolls and is built entirely around outdoor play. It's made from 1,128 pieces and includes several small treehouses connected by zip lines. It retails for €129.99 and ships worldwide. Assembled, the model measures 32 cm tall, 43 cm wide, and 34 cm deep, giving plenty of room for kids to build out their own friendship stories.

LEGO CITY 20th Anniversary Commemorative Set

Built for ages 8 and up, this set pulls together LEGO's core CITY themes in one box — trains, fire, police, and space all included alongside standard city buildings. It's designed to let kids build their own city and mix and match themes as they go.

LEGO Star Wars Series

75400 Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter

This set is based on Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter, priced at $14.99 with 89 pieces, and includes a new Plo Koon minifigure. A solid small collectible for Star Wars fans.

Darth Maul Mech

This set pairs Darth Maul with a mechanical suit, priced at $17.99 with 143 pieces. The minifigure includes Darth Maul's mechanical legs, matching his look after the fight with Obi-Wan Kenobi in Clone Wars — a distinctive design that should draw plenty of interest.

Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack

Inspired by Ahsoka (2023), this set includes two Death Trooper and two Night Trooper minifigures. It's priced at $22.99 with 119 pieces, letting fans of the show add these characters to their collection.
