Why Mechanical Design and Creativity Work So Well Together

LEGO Technic has been the most technically advanced line in LEGO's catalog since it launched in 1977, and it's remained a favorite of mechanically minded builders and adult fans ever since. Real mechanical principles, gears, differentials, pistons, are built directly into the sets, which puts Technic somewhere between a toy and an engineering lesson. In 2024, the series kept pushing that idea further, with new sets spanning F1 cars, heavy machinery, and supercars to suit different builders' interests.
