Building the 672-Piece Camaro

Before it goes on the wall, the 42153 gives you one of the more mechanically dense builds at this size. A few highlights from the assembly:

A working V8: The build opens with a solid chassis around a functional V8 engine, complete with a crankshaft and pistons that move together with the rear wheels.

A real differential: Not every set this size bothers with one, but the Camaro includes a proper working differential that splits power smoothly to both wheels.

Roof-mounted steering: A steering knob sits on the roof, so you can still turn the wheels by hand once the model is finished.

The laser livery: The last stage is applying the large sticker sheet that gives the ZL1 its signature look, with blue and red beams cutting across lime-green and black panels.
